I loved this place. I had the onion burger with fries. The onion burger was huge with plenty of grilled onions. Absolutely delicious. Great beef flavor in the burger patty itself. The fries were hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. My wife had juicy Lucy which came out looking more like a double cheeseburger. They wasn't any cheese in the patty. She had onion rings and I must admit that they were unlike any I have had before. Like the fries, they were hot and fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place, especially if you want to have an onion burger.

Wonderful!!!  Food was perfectly prepared and served fresh from the grill.  He Double Jucy Lucy w/ bacon and BBQ was a great pairing and full of flavor.  Add the reasonable prices and relaxing atmosphere just makes for a great lunch.  Definitely will return

OH MY BOVINE! The Cow Calf-Hay is the small town unique burger experience in the urban hustle and bustle of Downtown okc. It's located near leadership square and is limited on seating but the turnover is relatively high so you won't wait long. They have several specialty burgers that will blow your mind and force you into questioning your decision to not come here sooner and every day for every meal possible. At the time I went, they were trying out fried Oreos and let me tell you, they blew away the state fair Oreos and for a fraction of the price. I believe it was 4 for $1.50 but it might have been 3.
Anyways this place is a burger staple if you're  in Downtown okc. Come check it out but be ready to throw down with this delicious beef because it's bordering on a war instead of a meal.

This place is awesome. The décor is moo-tastic! We came in with a group of 10 about 30 minutes before closing and enjoyed our meal. The staff was friendly and got our food out to us fast.

The burgers are absolutely delicious. Some of the best I've ever had and the fries are unique. I shared the classic cheeseburger and fries with my husband and it filled me up, but next time I may not share!

Didn't know this place existed until I walked by the other day. It caught my eye with all the pics of their food on the windows of the place. Apparently it's both a breakfast and lunch place. I wish they served breakfast all day cuz the breakfast tacos looked really good. Decided to try it today even tho I couldn't dabble in some breakfast tacos.

The place has a western feel to it which I thought complimented the name. There was no line at the counter, but the place was full of customers. The cashier was also super nice when taking my order.

In my opinion, it's really really hard to mess up a chicken sandwich. I got the chicken club sandwich which had cheese, bacon, LT and some spicy ranch. Pretty tasty if you ask me! The sweet potato fries that they have there are a great compliment to the meal. The only knock I have on the place is the price. My entire meal (sandwich, fries and drink) was $14. It woulda been nice if they had a combo deal or something. Oh well, I'll be bringing my lunch crew here next week to see how they like it. S/O sneakman!
